Moritz Stumpe
Executive Director
Moritz is a generalist with a focus on data and research. He has worked in the private, public, and non-profit sector. In 2023, he went through Charity Entrepreneurship's Research Training Program. He holds a Master’s in International Relations and a Bachelor’s in International Business Studies.
Jenna Hiscock
Community Engagement and Ops Manager
Jenna holds a Master's degree in Historical Studies and an Honours degree in Development Studies. She has a keen interest in the interplay between humans, animals, and the environment in relation to politics, and has previously worked as a vegan chef with experience in various cause areas within the NGO sector. Based in South Africa, Jenna is passionate about connecting with and meeting fellow advocates in Africa.
Stuart Hisham Craig
Programme and Research Manager
Stuart holds an MSc in Sociology with a background in Medicine. He recently completed AIM’s 2025 charity entrepreneurship and research programmes, equipping him to design and launch high-impact non-profits. He has worked in financial data analytics, conducted research on fish welfare, and volunteered in several animal advocacy initiatives. Born and raised in the Middle East, Stuart has collaborated with North African charities on animal welfare and has developed projects focused on capacity building and cage-free campaigns in the region, giving him valuable local insight into both Middle Eastern and North African contexts.
Magda Kwapisiewicz
Communications Manager
Magda is a creative strategist with over seven years of experience in marketing, events, and content production. She has driven high-profile campaigns in competitive commercial industries and built communications strategies and content for international NGOs. Having worked across Africa, Asia, and Europe and across diverse industries, Magda brings a global perspective and acts as a bridge between sectors - translating lessons from the commercial world into strategies that strengthen social impact. She thrives at the intersection of strategy and storytelling, people and systems, and is committed to using her skills to create impact, guided by evidence and values.

Lynn Tan
Co-Founder
Lynn graduated from the University of Cambridge with an MPhil in Translational Biomedical Research. She participated in Charity Entrepreneurship's 2020 incubation program to learn the fundamentals of creating and operating an effective nonprofit organisation. Before the program, she has worked in research, strategy, and operations in a healthcare-focused social enterprise and a mental health startup. Lynn co-founded Effective Altruism Malaysia and volunteered as a Regional Rep for The Humane League UK.
Cameron King
Co-founder
Cameron ran his own eCommerce business for several years before pivoting to charity entrepreneurship to have a more extensive and substantial positive impact on the world. Cameron has been involved in the Effective Altruism community for over ten years and went through Charity Entrepreneurship’s 2020 incubation program for furthering his focus on effectiveness, efficiency and operations planning. Cameron co-founded AAA and Hive, where he is currently a board member and advisor, respectively.
Advisors
Dr. Calvin Solomon Onyango
Dr. Onyango is a Kenyan representative for the OIE Animal Welfare Focal Point serving in the capacity of an animal welfare champion. He has over 15 years of experience in community development, project management, veterinary practice, training, and education. He aims to serve the needs of animals and link good welfare state of animals to improved human welfare and livelihood. Dr Onyango is involved in advocacy and research on animal welfare and sustainable development, amongst other advisory and consultancy roles in national and international organisations. He has also given presentations and lectures in various conferences and universities.
Catherine Chumo
Catherine is a Communications Officer at Africa Network for Animal Welfare (ANAW) in Kenya and recently completed an MBA for Conservation Leaders in Kigali, Rwanda. She is a communications expert with 10 years of experience working in wildlife conservation and animal advocacy. Catherine is also the Liaison Officer supporting the Major Groups and Stakeholders of the UN Environment and has served as a board member of Friends of Nairobi National Park (FoNNaP).
Dr. Hiver Boussini
Hiver Boussini is a senior animal health officer and an Advisor for Strategy Animal Advocacy Initiatives in Africa, bringing a wealth of expertise and a profound passion for animal welfare and environmental conservation to the forefront of advocacy efforts across the continent. With a career spanning several years in diverse roles within the environmental and animal advocacy sectors, Hiver has built extensive networks with local communities, NGOs, government agencies, and international conservation organizations, fostering partnerships that amplify the reach and effectiveness of advocacy efforts.
Aurelia Adhiambo
Aurelia is Open Wing Alliance’s African Co-Ordinator at The Humane League, Aurelia is a researcher and project management professional skilled at planning, executing, improving and expanding non-profit programs and project life cycles to push the frontiers for program effectiveness and scalable impact.
Dr Paul Ssuna
Paul Ssuna is a Director at the Animal Welfare Competence Center for Africa (AWeCCA) with an extensive background in research and animal welfare.
Dr Daniel Abiliba
Daniel Abiliba is the Co-Founder of Animal Welfare League, working on a variety of campaigns in Ghana. Daniel was also one of our participants in our organisational training programme.
